Brake Upgrade

Hi im buying a 1.2 moda polo I know the hubs are 5 x 100 but am not sure whether my 312mm tt brakes will fit from my polo gti
any info will be great thanks

Bizzare section to post it in but no they wont.

The 1.2 has integeral caliper carrier that can't be removed from the bearing housing.

Ah ok then will i be able to swap to new hubs and will they be expensive
also looking at changing the rears to discs how do i go about that

Bearing housings are about £200ish for the pair, bearings are about £80 each.

Rear discs you need stub axles, bearings, cables, pipes, back plates, calipers, carriers, pads and discs.

cheers man so all i need for the front is bearing housings and bearing other than that it should pretty much bolt on
Im looking on etka now to see what bits i will need im guessing i should look on higher spec polos rather than ibiza fr's etc or are the mountings the same

By the way forgot to mention this is on a 2010 polo moda

Ibiza 2.0, Ibiza FR, Ibiza Cupra, Fabia vRS, Fabia 2.0, Polo GT all have the right housing with the seperate carrier. You just need the housing, bearings, bolts for the carrier, abs sensors if you have them should swap over. Finding second hand ones is nigh on impossible, they go so quickly.

I fitted the same conversion to my girlfriends Fabia MPi, just swapped the whole back axle off a written off Fabia vRS.

Im now upgrading to the 1.4 16v so will have discs on the back which wont look so bad now cheers
