brake sticking but calipers working fine

car ha been off the road for a year due to ban ,had it out on the road today and the brakes are sticking on when you press them for about 10 seconds have freed all the brake calipers there working nice and free is ther anything esle that could be making all four brakes stick on thinking possibly the master cylinder but not sure what to do to it any ideas

if it's been off road for a year i'd flush the fluid out and bleed the whole system for starters

on top of that check or replace the brake hoses they can cause sticking brakes if they have collapsed inside

i would definately do as stated above, and bleed them completely. And take them off, use a metal brush to scrape off any crap that might have collected over the year, and then use some copper grease to avoid squeeking, because you can be sure they will start squeecking.

have already stripped the brakes on every wheel and freed them its the four wheels which are locking on so im thinking it must be the abs or master cylinder what you think

all calipers are free and working fine, i take it you mean the sliders on the caliper yes there working fine
