Brake questions

Ok, got quite a few questions here as I look at my options for new brakes. Hope someone can help me out

Firstly, fluid. What should I use?

PADS

ferodo ds2500 all round?

REARS

I have purchased 256mm discs, calipers and carriers for the car. Still need to buy braided hoses and pads. Is there anything else I should replace at the same time? Ie, all the fixing bolts for the discs/carriers? I could just buy these straight from seat? Any other parts that would be useful? Clips etc for the calipers? I want it to be like brand new when I'm done...

FRONTS

This is where it really gets tricky for me lol.

If I went for a 312mm conversion I would need discs and carriers. And new pads/braided lines anyway. Still same calipers. Again, as above, should I replace anything else at the time?

What I would really like though (funds permitting) is a porsche setup. brembo calipers off a boxter s or similar.
If I get these then;
What carriers do I use? Do they just bolt onto the standard hub?
What brake discs do I use?
Hoses, just normal leon ones?
Anything else? can you tell I'm a bit clueless about brakes  lol

Or is there a complete big brake kit I could buy with all parts included and make life easier for myself lol

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give [B)]

cheers

so rear brakes off the porsche fit on the front of the seat?

And I could just use 312mm carriers and discs off a mk4 golf?

I thought the discs would have been bigger for the brembos no?

rears from a 911 c2, boxster s fit 312mm discs. porsche brakes are mounted on the rears of front discs and front of the rear discs, so the rears fit the front of the leon discs as that is the way your calipers are mounted. it is possible to fit front calipers from 911, but the bleed nipples will need reversing.

the carriers will have to be machined for vag to 911 calipers, the carriers from mk4 golf wont work

dont forget these are from rears of a 911 so 312mm is the right size for these, more importantly they are 25mm wide, same config as the 911

still 4 pot braking, same power as lcr brembos.

careful what wheels you are trying to get them under mate.

Ah right, that makes sense.

I've currently got rs4 reps but looking at bbs lm's or ch's soon. 18" but hopefully they will give enough caliper clearance aswell. If not I have spacers.

Do the carriers have to be made from scratch? Or can vag ones be made to suit porsche calipers?

the porsche brembos, are the offset for porsche hubs though mate???

so the carriers are offset for the porsche brembos and also the offset for the vw hub.

so no any 4 pot brembo carriers wont fit mate
