Brake Pads

I've just thought of something... How the hell do I buy brake pads? I want DS2500 Ferodo's.

The problem is I have AP Racing 4 pot calipers. They are being modified to fit my car as I type this.

How do I know what pads will fit? Not sure what car the brakes are off.

Do the calipers have a part number on them? Using that you might be able to find the model(s) of car the caliper was for, or the pad part number, and with that you could then find Ferodos to match?
