Hi Guys,

I have searched and looked up but i wander if someone could give me a definite answer...

What disks and pads (with the sensor) are best for a LCR!!!

Ive read that drilled is not a good way to go, rather grooved or just solid!

I want to keep the sensors on the pad (my own reasons) and just wandered what people would recommend!

Cheers

Rich

We dont list any discs for the fronts other than the standards. Your right though, drilled are more likely to crack under heavy use, so grooved is better. We do the mintex extreme pads, which are very popular at the moment and only £49+VAT, but they dont have the sensor.

Not sure on discs but lots of people use Ferrodo DS2500 pads on their LCR. I can highly recommend them. Mighty be woth having a word with Bill (Badger 5) about the discs ;)

nope they don't. disk wise ebc turbo's are a good option, not drilled but dimpled and grooved.

theres a few people on here, incl. me that are using them at the min and have had no problems. improvement in performance too.

If you searched and searched, did you not find the 1001 other posts with people saying Ferodo DS pads are the best option for the LCR? Discs don't matter a great deal, but grooved are nice and drilled are to be avoided IMO.

there will be hundreds of posts about brakes already on here, but as your asking and it only takes up a minute of my time at most, it all depends on your budget really, ap racing or tarox will be about four or five hundred quid whilst ebc's plus ferodo pads are about 330 from bill, i'm sure that bill thinks the sensors are a waste of time for some reason. use the search or go into bills page and ask him directly.
