Brake Lights With a Mind of Their Own!

After a cold night I will come down to the car and the brake lights are on! As soon as you hit the pedal they are fine but then again sometimes the batterys dead!

In the garage this morning but want to give them a prod so they dont spend 8 hours looking for a problem!

Its a 55 2.0 TDI with 56,000 miles.

had the same problem, mine turned out to be the water pipe for the back washers come off and leaked water onto the electrics which caused mine to come on permanently. Put on the back washer and if it does not seem powerfull enough (only covers half your window) then this might be the problem, but my boot is now rusting from the inside due to this problem!!!
