Dot 5.1 is easy to find but there are higher spec/boiling point Dot 4 from specialists. Search on here for it as I'm sure it came up in discussion.

Getting to the reservoir is the hard bit on these cars - I ended up taking off the vacuum pipe connection above it to get in there. Start on furtherest wheel from the reservoir, use lots of water to clear up any spills, use 6 point socket/spanner to crack the bleed nipples in a balanced way.. it has all been said on here before if you search.

Best bet is not to empty and refill, as it can cause problems with the ABS pump. If you can, get a pressure bleed kit (under £30 from halfords, gunsons easy bleed is the best) and bleed out most of the fluid from the reservoir. Then fill kit with the new fluid and bleed as per instructions. Its an easy job.

I'd definitely recommend the Eezi-bleed kit, makes it soooo much easier and quicker, and virtually no risk of getting any air in.
Just read the instructions about the maximum tyre pressure you can connect to the kit....

Not sure of exact quantity but I'd get at least a litre of fluid to make sure all the old stuff is flushed out.

And make sure you either use DOT4 or 5.1 - don't use DOT 5 which is silicone based and can't be mixed. Confusing, eh !
