Brake Disc & Pads

Ive herd EBC do a good range and easy to come by. Not managed to get any yet due to financial difficultys.

ive gone for EBC Green stuff pads all round and Zimmerman discs on the front and red dot 6 groove discs for the rear on my conversion

i was going to go for EBC but ive been told if you abuse the EBC discs they crack if they are the drilled ones ...

EBC discs have a drilled 'look', but are only dimpled - there isn't actually a hole through them, so that can't cause them to crack.:rolleyes:
I recently had proper drilled discs fitted, and know of the talk of cracking, so I'll find out for myself if it is true. I suspect if you abuse any disc they can fail.

Alot of people talk rubbish about EBC, I've had their setups on 2 of my cars, and found them to be excellent. I'm now using RedStuff pads.

see im not planning on track daying the arosa once the 20vT is in it so green stuff will do , dont get me wrong it will be doing the odd 1/4mile but you only need the brakes at the end :lol:

GreenStuff is great, I think it works best with Turbogroove discs, but they can be a bit noisy.

Ultimax disks are the grooved non dimpled (quieter) disks
EBC pads are not great, especially when compared to the likes of DS2500's which ROCK!
