brake calipers

hi everyone. can anyone shed any light on caliper colouring kits? i really want red calipers but dont know if a colouring kit will stand up to the heat. any advice gratefully received. thanks

I just used a kit from A1 motor stores - about a year now and its still deep red.

I'm very impressed

i cleaned mine off and then used red manifold paint painted on with a brush 2 coats later and now over 15 months still looks as good as the day it was done.. shows up the brake dust though so have to clean them well when i wash the car...cost about 2 hours time and around 8 quid

thanks. a mate at work did his calipers on his ka with the manifold paint and it doesnt look that great. dull. had a look on the a1 web site and they look great. and theyre just around the corner. i think the kit is the one for me. thanks agaian

Have heard many times that hamerite can stand the heat and is suitable for caliper use. lots more colours to chose from
