been thinking of adding colour to my standard looking calipars and would liek to know :

- universal brembo covers fit on the miniscule brakes ? if so are they worth it ?
- best colour of paint for a red ibiza ?

dont know about the brembo covers but i had the same dilema regarding paint colour for the calipers on a red car, i sampled 3 colours in the end (yellow, red and blue) and the red looked alot better and it stands out alot more than you would think.

heres a few pics:

as you can see the red does suit it really rather well.

I know it isnt a MK5 ibiza but i think it should give you a good idea

i didnt do it myself no, but for one good reason, i needed to buy all the equipment (paint brushes, axle stands) and the costs came to just shy of £40, i'm fortunate enough to have a really good VAG specialist/garage locally which did for me for £50 all in, so for the sake of £10, i let the pro's do it.

My calipers where 100% standard and in that funny grey/silver colour.

If you do it your self make sure you use hammerite, it gives a great finish and a great colour, if you look on my thread, you'll see a cracking picture of the calipers through the alloys.

cheers man, if you havent already got the equipment that will be your best bet theres plenty of good body shops around that can do it for which will give you the same awesome results.

that said once you catch the modding bug, you'll have to buy it all anyway
