Bournemouth Seat, how useless can you get!

Well the car went in today for the 6th time to get a rattle fixed in the tail gate, and guess what they tell me they need to order another part and have it back in for a 7th time. How useless can you get, why didn't they notice they needed the part when they tried to fix it all the other times. They really are incompetent.

They had it for 1.5 hours. Even ragged it up the road and back. They said they can't hear anything!!!

Got it home, jacked i up and all is was was pne of the undertray bolts were missing, so poped another in there... all sorted.

They are Retarded!!!

The annoying thing is it never used to rattle from there, the rattle was further up. They have fixed one rattle and caused another, which seems to be getting worse by the day. They really are

Salisbury is good as i went in there when the car was pulling to the left, they sorted it in no time.

Plus bourght the leon from there, as it used to be a seat dealer but got sold but they kept the exsisting staff

Meadens are Bournemouth and Sway SEAT, Same franchise.

I'm booked in Sat 25th for my 30k service, which is a 3 year one too. Quoted £161 inc VAT, I said I would provide my own oil and they took £40 off the price! So £121 it is.
Also sorting my damaged 'R' badges at the same time.

Hopefully all will go well.

in all fairness, if you were a technician and trying to find a rattle it is one of the hardest jobs you can undertake for a customer. Second only to water leaks. There are so many things that can cause it and it can sometimes be something that only the driver will spot, and could even be effected by ambient temps, 206 cc's are a great example.

I would say have a little patience in see it from their side, not clear and cut like changing discs and pads are rattle problems. Also with a lot of seat delaers now dropping parts stores and relying on overnight deliveries it will be more common to expect a delay while they order your part in.

I bought my car from Bournemouth SEAT and not had any issues, i found their sales and service staff to very helpful....nothing was too much trouble. i agree that a bit of patience is required when it comes to rattles....is it just me or do you have some kind of personal vendetta against that garage? lol hope the problem got sorted eventually anyway!? ;o)
