Bought my first cupra today!

Today i picked up my first Cupra, a nice shiny 2001 blue mk3 Ibiza..........i have a few questions about the beast.

My mate noticed that one of the wing mirrors was another size, ive looked at others and they are the same? why is that? is that some sort of rally type styling mod or summin?

I hear that the cd changer was optional from the factory? i cant seem to find it so i assume it has not got one, if it did, where would it be and if it hasnt, would the cd changer cable be already wired in somwhere so i could add one myself?

I must say ive driven it 100 miles today and have been rather happy with it so far, got to get used to it of course before the girlfriends head stops juddering forward on a gear change! lol....but that all comes in time, but then again its funny seeing her do that so maybe ill not stop!

Must say i have not seen another ibiza cupra at all today which is a refreshing change considering i used to drive a Golf Gti and you know how many of them are about one for every household!!

if you think thats funny, get remapped (adds another 40-50 bhp) for 350-500 quid)

ok and if its not there then is the wire hardwired in already so i can add one? where would it be?......come on lads help me here! lol

i got a peripheral interface cable and pioneer 8 cd changer off fleabay from u.s for £67 delivered

its easier to buy the correct one but i could hardly say no at that price plus i get 2 extra cd slots

how do you select cd 7or 8 ? dont the buttons only go to 6? , well i think they did in my gf s old beeza.

apparently if you press one twice or two twice you can get 7 n 8 but im having probs with mine and can only select random change.
the interface cable allows this to happen
