Just measure the original blades to make sure. Also check if they are "retrofit", so the fit on those "hooked" wiper arms. Bosch have better quality rubber, thata why they are so expensive. You might also buy cheaper ones and change them more often?

yeh its about 20-25 i think for the arm/blade/cover.

btw you want 21'' 18'' blades for a mk1, the passenger side wont have enough pressure at the corner if its a 19, and it will smear. The 18'' only just sits properly.

I still get confused about all this lol. These are my wiper arms / blades which in the this thread I was told are aero wipers and arms http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=399190. The ones that were on the car were 22'' and 17''. I got the Bosch A928S set which is 21'' and 19'' which fit perfectly. I don't think the wiper arm has been cut down or anything as it looks standard so I don't know whats going on!

They are Golf MK4 wiper arms fo sheezy. You need to do some adaptation for them to fit perfectly.

These should be standard arms

yeh, the hook type are the standard fit, like i have, those bosch blades you were linking are a retrofit to fit aero blades onto hook type.

Golfs have both types, i think its the mk4 anniversery ones that have the aero arms as standard. a mod for us leon mk1's.

So finally I measured today, drivers 21" n passenger 18" exactly, so I should order that size? Doubt a 19" would fit mine, also are the hook fitting.

Hopefully get them ordered as early present for myself, lol

Yeah cheers guys I 100% want the Bosch ones

I just got a message from an ebay seller saying i need 26" multi fitment ones?! WTF!

I know they measure exactly 21" and passeger 18" on my car. If you put the reg number in it says i need 21" and 19" but I know people said go for the 18”

I just need to know would all the 21” and 18” fit my car if I buy one of these from ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201008459157?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

do they all fit the same, like a bulb for example, as it doesn’t seem to list Leon anywhere!

I think the answer I need for this is, is the width of the hook on the wiper arms the same on all cars? Thats all i think I need to make sure they fit

Anyone know?
