Would it be a good idea to get propper 440cc Bosch green top injectors instead of a 4bar fpr as this would mean you wouldnt have to raise the fuel pressure to supply enough fuel during REVO stage 2?

Possibly better reliability of the fuel pump as it wouldnt be as stressed forcing fuel through? more power ?

no

1) they don't fit properly (need a spacer)
2) a 4bar FRP works
3) the map will open the injector for a given period of time, which will let in too much fuel if it's a 440cc

1. is the spacer really a problem

2. 4bar FPR sounds like a bodge though

3. Would a custom map sort this and theroretically could any gains over a 4bar FPR be made?

so a 4bar sounds like a bodge, and making ford injectors with a supposed crappy spray pattern 'fit' something with a spacer isn't?

the question you need to ask yourself is this: with my k03 turbo are my injectors maxxed out? (or close to)

vag-com logs will tell you yay or nay

the answer is nay.

so no point in changing them - and I doubt you'll find anyone who'll map you a set of 440's just for funs sake on a custom remap

I wasnt under the impression the bosch's were specifically for fords and neither have i heard rumours of a poor spray pattern?

If the injectors arent close to maxed out can you explain why a 4bar fpr is needed to force more fuel through? or is my understanding of this subject incorrect

Im thinking of ATP eliminator in the near future so i assume they would be required then? or can you suggest a better alternative?

No UK tuner has mapped an Aliminator AFAIK, but I do know that Revo will be on of the first, and it won't be using 440cc injectors

there was talk about 380's from the LCR, but I think they've been ruled out (just as well as they're f'ing dear) - so they're looking at some US supplied ones - hopefully have an answer soon

It all depends on who's mapping it as to what injectors to use - you don't want to end up with some sticky tape on the Maf to correct it all.

so im guessing in your opinion the 440cc bosch's wouldnt be worth while picking up as Ive been offered some brand new for £125

Will the REVO map be classed as another version of stage 3 then? or a smaller "2.5" bigger than stage 2 but not quite stage 3?

any ideas when this revo map will be completed?

it's a specific map for the eliminator

but if you want revo, then the 440's would be a waste (they're *always* cheap now anyway - so you can pick em up any time)

Revo need a car, which I have access to, a turbo, which is being delivered soon, and me not to have a broken hand, so I can fit it.

You will want/need: FMIC, DP, Injectors (or some sort) as a minimum, so looking at your list you're there almost

it should fit a std TIP, but they're restrictive enough anyway.

which eliminator are you fitting mork and how much power and you expecting it to make? I appreciate you dont work for REVO but do you have a rough guess as to how much it'll cost to upgrade from stage 1 which I already have to the eliminator software?

A TIP is on my list of bits to get, it sounds like your suggesting the forge TIP will fit with the eliminator range? is that correct?

GT28RS - expected 350bhp

Stage 3 costs £699 at the moment - so if it's an upgrade path it's £250 plus tax, which isn't bad

I have an Ibiza std tip off the car, so I'll be trial fitting that to see if it fits, and I think it should. failling that I'll try the forge silicon one - that should fit.

hmm thats a bit frustrating, it would of been cheaper for me to hang on and just jump straight in, do the modifcations and purchase stage 3!

on a seperate note, why do REVO dealers quote everything excluding VAT, its really annoying as obviously we're not all going to claim the VAT back as we cant so why not just include it! bit of a stealth tax!

Your fitting it to a leon right? do you expect any clearance problems fitting it to a leon? Can i ask you how much it cost to import the turbo?

cant imagine a k0x based housing flowing enough for 350bhp with standard tip?

This has the 3" 'inlet' upgrade, but it's heavily champered intowards 2" or so.

they reckon 350bhp on std inlet....

huuuum i may be wrong but with revo stage 1 (and so the 3b fpr) my injectors seem to have a duty cycle above 90% after 4800 rpm and to max out after 5500 rpm  and i don't think it's really good.
