My boot won't open for some reason!

Press the button in and it feels like something is jammed. Can't put the key in either. Tried to open it from the inside but can't find a catch.

Any ideas?

Might be a dumb question, but have you tried using the key on the boot when the car's locked?

The boot lock 'eye' needs to be in a certain position before you can open the boot, even when the rest of the car's unlocked. Try playing around with the central locking and the key on the boot lock.

Mine has a problem where every now and again it's hard to open the boot. You have to push the button in really hard before it opens.

As for not being able to get the key in, no one's tried breaking the lock have they?

you could pop the boot by removing the plastic cover on the hatch by droping the rear seat n releasing the lock mech by hand
