When I close my boot, I notice it doesn't catch correctly therefore isn't closed right. Does anyone know how to fix it?? My dad seem's the think something might need tightening??

Has the car been hit up the back? My sisters car had the same problem when hers did and I had to 'persude' the rear panel back out. Either that or the lock could need adjusting or may need replacing if it's rusty. My last car needed cleaning up and lubricating.

No it hasn't been hit up the back (not that I know of anyway!!) It doesn't look rusty, I think it might just need a good clean and adjusting.....let's hope so anyway! Thanks

sometimes it is somthing simple, check the catch isnt loose as sometimes the bolts come loose and then it rattles when the bootlid is shut, also try snapping the catch shut with a screwdriver and see if it holds, if it doesnt then the cable that controls the catch might be sticking.. or it maybe goosed...
