If you're referring to the mesh pocket thing... Halfords sell a range of these in various shapes and sizes. They screw or velcro into most surfaces, have an elastic top to keep things securely in place and come in a number of shapes and sizes. Worth a look :)

Thanks, I'll have a look when I'm next down Halfords.

I got bored so I had a look at what could be done with the space in a true Blue Peter stylee. End result is posted here

Not one for the purist perhaps but its out of sight in the boot and it only took me half an hour with a trial run. Cheap, no screws required and environmentally friendly !

You could use that cardboard as a template and make something more solid out of thin MDF. Then get yourself some black carpet (AutoLeads sell some that's a great match) and cover it and secure it in place somehow (strong velcro should do it) and you have yourself a very nifty bit of handy work :)

Yeh, was going to use MDF, hardboard or plastic sheet originally but needs to be v. thin and slightly flexible to mount under trim. Trialled using velcro and it does provide a surprisingly strong fixing. main issue is securing against trim ar rear of boot where ideally you need a bend in the material to secure it rather than it being 'end-on'. I think I'll have a go at something more elegant when I can get my hands on some ally sheet.
