Telford ay it...
hopefully geting my boot delocked soon with other stuff and obviously still want to open the boot.

Has anyone rigged up a solenoid and could give me some pointers, plus what do you do with the air line that goes to the lock for the central locking

cheers

put a screw in the air pipe so that the system stll works. get a solenoid from say maplins and then with the brackets screw it firmly to the inner boot frame bit youll know when yu take the trim off. play around with the lock inside the boot to see how it opens, theres a bit of metal with a hole in... dont know why thees a hole, but once you find whichbit needs pulling to open the boot then just attatch a wire connecting the solenoid arm to that piece of metal

if you neeed a pic just say and ill get a couple, could do to plug y camera in the boot back in anyway so the trim would need to cme off for that

This is where mine was fitted to.

Long wire goes to the hole in the lock pull handly thingy as described earlier. Can be mounted other ways too. Just depends where you choose.

your bet off getting from maplins a door lock solenoid, cheaper too but theyre stronger and easier to mount. thats all i used and it works a treat. they have a loop at the end to put a wire through also which is handy which then goes to the hole in the lock mechanism.

Get the door lock solenoid/actuator... much better
