Boot lid sensor

Hi everyone, does anyone know where the sensor is on the boot lid that tells your car that the boot is shut? Today, I was using my back wiper, i think some water has got in the boot lid, due to the hose not being attatched properly to the washer jet. Could this cause a sensor to short out, therefore making the sensor thinking the boot is open?

when the hose comes off the washer it usually drips on the cental locking moduel and cause it to fail. common prob, have a search

it still locks the boot but the light is on, on the dash sayin the boot is open and it is closed.. thanks mate
