Boot handle S badge

Does anyone know how this is attached? Im getting me mate to do me a FR badge to fit in its place if it comes off.

mate, i tried taking it off whn i sprayed it black, but i couldnt do it, so i left it on. mayb someone else knows.

Ad Lav has smoothed his off and imho is one of the best looking Ibiza's MK4 out there at the moment (oh and its red meaning its fast!)

Not sure if a large FR badge would suit being the boot handle, but its different, no-one has done it, so it would be a first!

Think you have to remove the cover on the inside of the boot, and you can get to the fixings that way!

The whole rear panel has to come off, easy peasy to do, torx bits and metal clips hold it in, unscrew the handle mechanism and plug up rear wiper washer pipe (otherwise this leaks!) then go see a welder, then bodyshop!!

Sorry fellas, should of explained myself better. I was wondering if the actually handle or badge comes off, leaving the mechanism in. Me mate reckons he can make and FR badge (the same as normal ones) to the same size as the current S badge to somehow fit onto the mechanism as a sort of Handle upgrade.

Good luck, don't think it'll fit, the badge come off but its a proper job and a half!

The FR badge is bit small and the 'S' badge is huge, not sure matey...

Yeah tis a bit of a size difference, but hopefully will be able to come up with something. Might have to be a little different in design but i'll try and keep it as close looking as possible. Hopefully it'll look smart if it comes off.

Do you know how its attached Ad Lav, it'll be pins is it?

Good luck to you, the whole 'S' mechanism comes off then the actual handle is a mission, it unclips but took my mate and me hours of fiddling with it!

Ive been haviing a look and it does seem as if its gonner be right hard. Soo.... im fortunate enough for me mam to work at Durham uni, as shes going to ask the following fellow for help and advise
