hello everyone,

Got a strange boost problem at the min normally it would stay at 1.0 bar at peak

But sometimes when driving it will get stuck at 0.5 but if you turn the ignition on and off it will go back to normal (while driving)

im thinking its a n75 or maybe tip that’s causing this?

I checked vag-com and got a check dv code but i think thats to do with the kompact i have on

Thanks in advance:)

the drop in boost is frequent, i never thought of the temp senor and it would be a good result as these aint very expensive

oh ok :p

I had similar problem when I left the car overnight in the cold it would sometimes go into limp next morning. No warning light. Problem has gone away after I changed the temp sensor.

You might see the temp sensor code if you have vag-com.

nah, it could have been nothing but I opened the reservoir when I had the temp sensor out "just to see" ...

so, I spilled a little. Just do it while its cold and keep the reservoir closed and you'll be in good shape.

your dumpvalve is lossing pressure. i had this problem. the problem was caused as i had a forge split r dv, it was running part atmosphiric and part recirculating. i then made it fully recirculating and the problem was gone.
