Just finished fitting my boost gauge. When im cruising at most speeds it always reads bettween 10-20 Vac when i accelerate normaly it goes up to 0-5 then under hard acceleration its abtou 10-11.

Is it normal to be on vac then crusing?

Boost hose fitted to the top of the DV.

Thanks
Nick

Yhe not chipped. Just seems a bit weird.. From my knolage seems as if the car cruises with the waist gate open. this for fule reasons? so you dont have boost?

Now i've got one, just had remap.
And now mine rises to 20 psi then drops to 16 (which seems to peak a bit but thats not my worry) Its the fact that after the turbo has run the vacuum drops to 30 holds there then rises to 20 (this is all when throttle is lifted)
Now do people think this could be down to my split R not being set right?
i.e too tight?

I've spent weeks trying to set it right but just cant find the right spot like i could with standard

try putting a straight recirc on and see if it makes a difference
could even use your stock bosch one, should stand up for long enough to see if it is your dv before it blows the diaphragm

Thats actually a bit more than standard, what guage you got?
Mine usually hits and holds 11, if you get a nice cold day sometimes its hits and holds 12, never spikes!
