hi guys,

i hope im not re-opening an old thread,

is there anyone who has a Greddy Profec-B spec-II installed on an 20VT FR Petrol, i would like to get any good setup suggestions from different people.

i don't think this has been done with any real success.

The 1.8T engine is so reliant on its ECU and we all know the slightest little problem can cause it to run shite, so messing with boost settings using a boost controller may just be asking for trouble.

i would say no, and would'nt bother trying, unless any bright sparks on here know any better

well, i have set it up with a friend and one thing i can tell you for sure, when i floor it , it holds the boost up and you can feel the car boosting away.

and its even easier to keep it low on gas if you switch it to low boost.

i think that most of the people i know here has one and they use it not only on VAG cars.

and it dosent do anything inside the engine, lets say that i would have been more worried with other modifications.:doh:

no doubt the car is more aggressive and powerful :drool: , you dont need to remove the N75 because the boost controller has its own solenoid that hooks up, you leave the N75 intact because you dont want the computer giving you any check engine errors with the N75, i'll get a few pictures of my car and ill explain the whole thing.
