Hello all,

RK696 has kindly just reset my TBA and while there checked the boost for me as I was not sure how well she was performing.

It seems i have a problem as I'm only get max 12psi. Mine is a 06 LCR with REVO 1, Forge DV (yellow spring) and J type N75. Since I fitted the J N75 I the DV seems to have gone a bit quiet so not sure whats going on there. Anyway, here are the VAG.COM figues, your comments / suggestions would be much appreciated:

What's the boost pressure supposed to be on a stage 1 LCR people? The ECU seems to be requesting 20 PSI is, I guess that's about right.

My stage 1 vRS requests around 18 PSI, and reaches it, so I guess the OP has a boost leak.

I have boost problems too, proper pain in the arse and is doing my head in!!
how did you get that reading from vagcom???

Pyro

Guest
you have to log the car with vagcom doing runs in 4th gear from 2K RPM to redline or as close as, vagcom then reads what the ECU is doing and saying to whatever you have decided to og and shows the results in this case he's logged actual v's requested boost to find out if the car is actually making the requested boost ;)

Any idea why my car is not producing the boost requested? Have just changed to a N75 J after the old one packed up; it seems to peak earlier but provide less ultimate boost but I cant really tell as I dont have boost gauge.

Do u have VAG figures for ur car to compare against mine, si I can see what it should look like!

Cheers

You need the full version if you go on ross tech site there's help and there's a good section on here for vagcom help etc http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=104

Jp as Lee said no good comparing to mine as my turbos old and a bit worn so never produces requested boost :( but is defiantly better these last few months :)

Lee on the graphs witch is requested and witch is actual? I need to learn these things :) lol

Jp have a look at this se if it helps at all http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=293436&highlight=suffering really need to update it tho lol there's so many reasons I could be mate leaks are the most frequent and most anoying :( I had 5 all in all so far in a year and a half  lol

The old N75 was the regular F version, it broke so I changed it for the J version after reading a number of posts about how they were better. May have to buy another F version to see if the valve is the problem, what do u think?

I can't see it causing you lose power throughout the revs if anything it would overboost you then put you in to limp mode
