Boost problems - Hesitating and juddering

Hi all, Ive searched about but cant find any answers for the problem Im getting

I swapped my ecu which had an AmD stage 1 map on it, for an ECU with a stage 1 Revo map

Everything was fine, peaking at just over 20psi and holding 15psi, lovely :)

Next day I top up with fuel and put in 99 RON Super Unleaded instead of the 97 I normally use. Since then, whenever the car boosts to 20psi it judders constantly until I back off the throttle. No engine light or anything comes on

Is this just coincidence and I have a fault somewhere, or would the slightly higher octane fuel cause this?

Cheers!

Sounds like coilpack problem mate- I had a dodgy coilpack before and on full throttle it would sound like a Subaru and judder all over the place, but drive it normally and it would drive fine. Get it on VAG-COM to find out whether it's got a fault code- at least then you'll know which cylinder the problem is with. Try and find someone in your area with VAG-COM unless you've got it.

Thanks mate, sounds exactly like what my car is doing. I'll get the codes read tomorrow and report back :D

Read the fault codes, had a few but nothing relating to a coil/missfire or cylinder, so swapped the coils one-by-one with my spare and found the culprit, so all is good again :)

Cheers for the help lads :D
