Right guys i have had this saga for quite a while now i have no idea what to do, So turning to you guys for advice.

The car is spluttering/miss firing between 3/4k revs, with a load of smoke along with it, had the car on vagcom faults fixed new parts below -

n75, maf, precat lambda, spark plugs, n249 n112 bypassed, sai removed, dv checked and all was well.

So i have no idea what to do?

thanks in advance guys

*Cough*

COIL PACK

*Cough*

;)

It might be difficult with the car being off the road but see if you can get it on vagcom to do a log of misfires (the block number is somewhere on here )

The cyl(s) with the higher counts will be the one(s) with the shagged coil

Well guys problem solved, thanks for pointing me in the right direction Bill and Pidge.

Swapped over a coil pack from a member off the local car forum in cyl 4 and the car ran as sweet as, oh how i now love boost.

Need to adapt my driving style to suit a turbo car though.

Logs from today show 143g/s @ 6000 rpm, and peak boost as 0.78 bar @ 5200rpm.

Quick conversion leads me to believe the car is running about what it should be power wise now and no faults showed on checking after the run :)
