I have an Ibiza Cupra 2006 1.8T remapped to 240bhp on 60k miles.
I have a boost gauge fitted which shows it normally peaks around 18-20 psi when running correctly.
However sometimes when I put my foot down it will only peak at 7psi.
Also the needle is very jittery as it moves through the dial.
I have replace the gauge with another one I know works and it does the same.
The car pops and bangs a lot more when it is running with this problem.
Also as I’m driving in 1st gear then let off the throttle to let it drop back down the rev range, after a second or so of letting my foot off, the car jumps forward as it revs itself, as though I’ve put my foot back down hard for a second.
Has anyone seen this before or might know what is causing it?
Thanks!
