Boost Pressure Guage & Oil Temp

Where is the electrical connection on the engine for the oil temp, or do you have to use a new sender, if so where does the sender go on the engine. Thanks 4 any help. Also where have you connected your boost gauge to. Thanks

Hi. You have to run your own sender wire in. If you bring it through the grommet just behind the wiper motor. Dead easy. Got the guages from Apex performance, about £50 each. And pillar is nomad racing.

I put the oil temp sender in the oil filter housing, remove the blanking bolt on top (5mm Allen key) and screw the sender in there with a little sump sealer on the thread. As for the boost gauge just removed the little green cap on your brake servo pipe and connect your gauge pipe to that. Simple.

Thanks for your help there cupra_matt, also got gauges from apex performance, autometer racelite. That has cleared up that query with the oil temp sender and boost gauge. Thanks again. Colin McDonald
