Hey all, righ ti am wanting to get a gauge fitted soon, an ive found the nomad racing pods that seem to be the way to go, but dispite having found it before, i cant seem to find any useful info on boost gauges, i know there are some out there in red, that match the dash well etc, so just wanted to pick peoples brains on what the have, what you think is good, etc etc, the other small prob i have is the gauge MUST be PSI. so ant names, or websites anyone can offer would be a big help,
as a final question, WTF can u run the pipe for the gauge, i had a look for a grommet in the bulkhead a when i got it, an there seems to be none that are useable or practical, again any advice would be helpful, cheers

hi mate,

there is a topic i used for running my gauge and its this one:

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=223051

VERY helpful.

Quick Facts:

  • Halfords "Autometer" gauge matches the red very well and is PSI

  • When wiring... use the orange and purple together to light the gauge and the needle up

  • Run the hose fromthe FPR, left along the front of the engine then up, through the wiring loom grommet near the top left hand (drivers Side) corner. (i did not drill here... i used fuel lines because their black and OEM looks, and stronger than normal silicone, so i could use a coat hanger and push it through)

hope that helps :)

I just got a normal Revotech one from Burton Power as i live near it. White face PSI and just dash mounted in the corner. Does its job and is smooth. easy to fit. I sued te rubber gromit on driver side under the bulk head where the wiper is, come out under your ligt switch ready to wore in.
