Why is my boost gauge vibrating :censored:

I was told it's because the air from a turbocharger comes out in high frequency and it's the air pulses that can cause the gauge to rattle

If I engage the clutch pedal the vibration stops :wtf:

I am thinking of going electric

My used to buzz and rattle when on boost, it pissed me off loads so i just removed the gauge...

I got told it could have been down to cheap boost tubing used???

Gaz, yeah that was the one...

Mine was drilled and tapped into the intercooler boost pipes, so that might explain it, due to the vibrations from the derv lump.

yes it could be that and tapping into a boost pipe is going to send serious amounts of air right to the gauge its probably showing what the condition is like inside the pipes
restricting it might help against the vibrations
