Your engine bay really needs a bloody good clean :)

You haven't seen mine,,,

Who does really f*ckin care? I'm not a motor-meeting-show guy, the bonnet has to remain closed!

Panda, good installation,,, what about spraying the pod in an interior-similar colour?

I remember you talkin about buyin the MAP adaptor for the gauge but now I see you drilled the IC pipe,,,

I bought the adaptor but it does not fit in the leon :(

I thought about painting the mounting in similar white-ish colour but as it doesn't look bad as it is in black, I think it will stay black. As my painting ability is, let's say, limited :p i will probably screw it and it will end looking horrible.

Hmmmm,,, you're tempting me to buy that adaptor from you,,,
But how could I be sure it's the right part for the 110 beezer?

Its unusable now because i soldered it to a small tube before realizing it does not fit, now is a keyring  it probably won't fit the ibiza neither. After all the mess, drilling was not such a big deal, what i did was i bought a new pipe at my dealer (if you look at the photo you'll see that the pipe is superclean, thats because its new  ) and drilled that new one and cleaned it at home (that way i could do that and still keep using the car daily) and when everything was ready I just swapped the pipes, that way if someday i want standard as before i only have to swap pipes again.

Hello,

Good job, but is it very noisy??

I´m trying to take the pressure from the IAT sensor installing an adaptor, like the one you found in a german web. A local workshop will do it for me, I hope so.

I also want to install an oil temp gauge, in a double gauge pillar A, what do you think about the nomad Pilar A?

Your gauge is a Stewart warner, no? I wanted to buy one from them as they distribute them in Madrid. But didn´t they have them without vacum??

Bye

for rhd leons etc, nomad racing do colour coded whole pillars for not an awful lot of money, they are quite hard wearing and textured like the oem seat pillars.

Thank you for the link to the photos, but yours is the petrol one, in the TDIs is a bit more difficult to get the pressure. We don´t have a pipe in wich you insert the T.

About nomads, Don´t they produce LHD pillars?? :( I wanted to get it from them.

Bye

Noisy? no it doesn't make any noticeable noise. It only makes a small "tick" when you floor it and I think is not the gauge but some cable that runs with the boost tube and vibrates against de plastic pillar, I'll have to tape it to the pillar (inside) or something.

Yes the gauge is S/W , I don't really know if they have them without vacuum. The pillar mount i have is from Salva, also in Madrid and they were also carrying dual pods.
