Boost control

Rite I got my spps3 switch and have been playing with boost but after turning it up and nothing happening I'm starting to wonder what's goin on surely if I turn the boost up on the sps3 then it should peak higher????? It peaks at 18-19 and wjen I turn it up it still peaks at the same it's set to 6 on the switch and feels no different from there on??? 7,8, and 9 just feel slugish??

think i found your problem you are trying to use a revo switch on the BOOT then thats the problem

More boost = more heat, so it's just getting hot.

Bigger, decent intercooler and you can start tweaking

But shouldn't it still show on my gadge that its requesting more an peek higher?? Even if drops to the dame as before?

No, if the AIT's are too hot the boost will be pegged back by the ECU

Ahh I see so I'm guessing to test this I can change the boost while the cars cold and see if it does peak higher?? If not then I do I have a problem??

No, you're not getting it.

Boost = heat
Summer = heat

too much heat = ECU pulls back boost = less boost

Nope, it's all about your heat dissipation - the engine will get hot too quick really.
