boost confused?

hi its me again

ok the boost problem on my 1.9 tdi 90hp is on tick over, i have full boost on tick over rev it up and no boost, waste gate closes the fan comes on straight away !

no faults showing on the diagnostic

this has all come from a oil pressure problem. i can only guess that the relay that controls the vacuum has a problem?

any body had this prob please?

Ive had this car a year now and its been on the road about 30 days the pipe from the inter cooler is oiley to the inlet manafold checked all the pipes and the turbo is spining a bit

you shouldnt have full boost on idle.

Anyway, i would try swapping the N18 and N75 valves on the back firewall and see if it helps you identify which one is faulty.

If your 1.9 tdi 90hp is having a boost problem and like what you’ve said maybe it is due to the relay that controls the vacuum has a problem.
