I've just been looking on Ebay at bonnet lifters and found two places offering them for sale, but both state they are not suitable for the TDI and 16V models.

Why is that, as I cant see there being any difference on the wings/bonnet on these models compared to the rest of the range.

Has anyone fitted them, or had any problems fitting them?

Thanks, Mike.

i bought mine from donny show couple of years ago, but they are very easy to fit, just unbolt a couple of the bonnet screws and replace with bolts provided, similarly done to the wing, then the lifters just attatch to the new bolts.

i think mine were golf mk3 fitment maybe
