It does calm down, but if you'refeeling a LOT more vibration - did you torque the bolts up correctly?

You are bound to feel a lot more vibration because they are alot stiffer than standard! I had the EIP dogbone which was better (less vibration) but i think it was just a compromise! I have the Neuspeed bushes in now and the vibration when pulling away is slightly annoying, but just give the engine more revs to overcome it!

You soon get used to it! :)

what gains do you get?

a bit less wheel hop and it does feel like the car is more connected to the road and it feels like it puts the power down better aswell.I did try it with just the smaller of the two bushes installed and the seat one and it had no vibration that i noticed. What i am going to do is leave it for a week or so and then retorque it again just in case.

Where abouts do these fit and roughly how long does it take to do?

Is it a garage job.

Cheers

Underside of the engine / gearbox.

You will need a ramp or axle stands, off with the under tray and unbolt 2/3 bolts. (DIY around an hour, Garage 15 mins)

You can do it DIY but make sure you Torque the bolts correctly otherwise you get excessive vibration back through the cabin (steering wheel)

This is one of the best value mods I tried, I used the EIP version at £85 ish and thought it worked superbly
- Car felt connected
- Less work for the ESP to do
- Less nose lift under acceleration

After a remap it's right up there with a short shifter as probably one of the best value mod's on the market

Yes the Powerflex ones are Poly ones and they fit into the existing mount (take mount off car replce bushes and refix)

or

EIP do a fully redesigned mount at £85 available from Westec
http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/motormounts.html

to quote them
EIP motor mount does not use hard polyurethane found in most other mounts. Because of this, little to no additional vibration will be felt when using our mount

Pay your money and take your choice ;)
