Ha ha i was just in there an hour ago looking at this. Let to believe the 'Edge' version is the one that meets the specs. On saying that i just checked the handbook and it says as long as the oil meets VW 501.01 502.00 505.00, which magnetic 5W-30 A3 B3/B4 seems to...its all good, gonna get one to last me a few months lol

Maybe but it meets the spec and considering you get 4 litres for the price of 1 litre and the amount im having to stick in lol Im happy enough to stick the magnatec in , not like im using tescos own brand is it

Ah, well if both meets the reqs I might just join you save myself a bit of cash, save up for a remap in no time the amount I'll save using cheaper oil

I was going to use my magnetec but got conflicting aadvice on what to use some said magnetec wasnt any good for it and edge was best, so I bought 1l of edge, Ive just ran out and am wondering if mixing engines oils is bad because I have a 1l bottle of magnetec at home laying around from my old car that I can put to good use, and with this offer it makes sense to use it even more.
