i have the dynatwist on mine, as andy says it does sound better with the cover off and to be honest i didnt notice a difference with the cover not on, although i did make a heat sheild to go around it which gave it a bit of cover from the heat

Whats your heatsheild like?

Any pics?

Not had my FR long, totally standard just now, but would like to get a 007p and dynatwist....

Heard the XL dynatwist also fits with some swearing etc....

No sorry i seem to have deleted the pictures by mistake, basically i just used a heatsheild made by green filters and kept the lower part of the air box in to rest the cone filter on top of. it worked well.

in the end i git sick of the dump noise and i ended up putting the dynatwist casing back on

The dynatwist come with a heatsheild. Its pretty much part of the cold air system.

Also one major question is "How much do I want to spend"

People say that just by changing the OEM air fillter to a Green Panel one, and changing the intake to the cupra one, has roughly the same results as a CAI kit.

Here is mine with the heatshield back on, and a battery cover - :) - missing from the Mk4.5 for some reason

It does increase the dump noise without the heatshield on. My mate thought I'd managed to put on an Atomospheric DV.

And some small information for Klang J
