Bluetooth voice recognition...

OK, so I've taken over 2 hours to store just 4 numbers for the voice recognition dialing thingy...
Problem is that after reading out the number you have to say "Store", damn thing doesn't understand me and says "star four"

I have tried every accent, and way of saying store I can, but still takes 20+ each times.....

Anyone know what kind of accent is required?

I don't know what to do, short of recording somebody else saying store....

Got to say though, I'm very impressed with this piece of kit

try saying store like this STOWER i had same problem and adding the W makes it work every time for me.

I had exactly the same problem and got around it by saying 'store' with an 'American' accent emphasising the r at the end. It sounds stupid but it worked for me.

Use "store number" or "store name" - you don't need to put on an accent or anything.

I usually say things like "Dial Number" say the number and then "dial number" to initiate the call

Thats right, I had the same problem and it (she?!) always thought I said "Star", say "store number" and all works fine. The manual's wrong.

Try this...

I had the same problem but solved it by pausing and waiting until I was prompted for "possible commands" at the end. This way the system is only expecting a limited number of responses and "star four" is not one of them!

i think it is best tried with an inspector clouseau or vikki pollard accents.
also if you could post yourself on youtube while doing them we may be able to help more once weve seen what your doing

You wouldn't believe the evenings of frustration I've had trying to get it to store.

Just tried "STORE NAME" for the final command and stored three contacts first time.
