Bluetooth question.

Hello,

I have just bought a 57 plate Leon FR, and it has the bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel,(the phone up and down buttons, and the man speaking button!) so Im guessing it has the bluetooth pack. Are there any visible signs to confirm this? ie a module box somewhere etc?

I have tried putting my phone onto bluetooth and searching for devices but nothing comes up. The phone is a Sony Ericsson K800i and should be compatible I think!!

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

should have the large MFD display .. with the fuel and temp dials on either side.

non bluetooth has a small lcd display at the bottom and the fuel temp above it.

With bluetooth:
main.php

Without bluetooth:
main.php

Strange that it has the buttons for it though, do they come like that anyway or not?

start the car, turn the radio on.

use your phone to search for bluetooth devices, slected "seat_hu"
passcode is either 5555 or 1234 or 0000 (cannot remember - think 1234)

sounds, like wheel has been swapped... or wrongly fitted when built (one of ours cars at work came with a 5 speed gear nob instead of 6 !)

In front of a PC....
Just a standard steering wheel with Audio and Phone Controls. The phone controls won't be connected to anything though but the Audio buttons will work.
It just saves money rather than having 3 types of steering wheel. I have seen a lot of Leons that have the audio and phone buttons but don't have Bluetooth installed.
