I picked up my FR tdi yesterday and in the dealers he gave me a quick run through the bits and pieces. However, when uploading my phonebook for the first time I have quite a few numbers on the phone and it was taking a while so he interupted it and now it doesnt have everyones names. How do I go about getting the rest uploaded? If tried deleting and adding the device again with the phone but this doesnt seem to do the job.

By the way, car was great, no new seats for me tho. Dealer said they wont be on them for a while, yet my uncle picked up his cupra on saturday and he had the black surround.

The bluetooth is a law to itself, i find that when you pair a phone for the first time it takes ages to load its directory to the car and then on the second occasion you use it the directory downloads in seconds, HOWEVER;

I started with a motorla razr which would load only the phone contents to the car (no sim entries) then i got a samsung e900 which loaded everything but wrong ie phone and sim entry but with the names jumbled up, had to exchange that for the newer samsung u600 which works perfectly downloads phone and sim entries correctly.

What phone do you have ??, I suspect its youre phone rather than the cars bluetooth that is the problem, we are all gonna have to be carefull what phones we get next time, the u600 is on bluetooth 2 and that seems fine may be that you have to change youre phone iam afraid......

Its a sony ericsson W810i. What I have noticed as well is that if I select the phone book from the right hand lever then there is just a partial phone book but if i do it through the steering wheel controls there seems to be more and sim entries too. Wierd.

I have a sony ericsson k790i, in the first time I paired it it uploaded every entries in the phonebook twice, I erased the contacts in the SIM card then after a few more minutes the phone book updated by itself, erasing all of the duplicated entries.
