Has anyone been able to get a definite answer from SEAT as to whether or not the software on the bluetooth gizmo can receive software upgrades to fix connectivity problems?

My 6233 disconnects on a very regular basis and is in grave danger of been ejected from the car at highspeed! (It is the second handset I've had and has the latest firmware so am guessing it is a compatibility issue)

I've spoken to SEAT UK and Dealer and never hear anything back, worst case I will go and buy a 6021 (never had a problem with this handset, my 6230 works fine & 6822 works fine)

wurzel, why do you need 3 phones?

if you need 1 for work, 1 for personal use, and one for your misstress/boyfriend :)shrug:), why dont you choose the one that works best with the bluetooth, and then divert the calls to that phone?

I have/had the 6233 (untill it broke and It ended up in small pieces lol) Im not swapping simcards between my work phone.

The 6233 I had worked just like that, was really irritating..

My Nokia 6021 works perfectly..

I have a SE k800i. I tried it on my mums Altea before I got the cupra and it worked a treat. Tried it on the cupra and it kept disconnecting. Tried my Nokia 6021 and it works perfectly. Weird!

sssssssssshhhhhhhhh the GF isn't supposed to know about the phone for the mistress :p

I used to have 6021 as a work phone, then got given a 6822 to replace it (what a crap phone!) I upgrade my 6230 to a 6233 but still have the 6230 (don't want to go back to using it as it falling apart)

If I still had the 6021 I'd use that as my personal phone but seriously, I can't use the 6822, the keypad is awful for texting and it folds out into a mini computer - just can't deal with having a qwerty keyboard on my phone!

Its interesting that other people are having the same issue with the 6233, I find it always disconnects about 10-20 seconds after I receive a text or hanging up the phone, & then once it starts all you hear for the rest of the journey is ding ding.... ding dong.... ding ding.... ding dong (it would be slightly more acceptable if it didn't keep interupting the radio and dropping my calls!!!)
