Anyone here have a full Blueflame exhaust inc. decat and downpipe?

I have priced up two systems, catback and full system including decat and downpipe. Its goin to be expensive but I'm thinking I'm going to go for full system with decat and downpipe and wondered if anyone has this and wot they think of it.....sound it makes and if i'm lucky any noticeable power gains.

I hear blueflame is as good as you can get... this correct?

cheers

not really thought about it. if it comes on it comes on. as long as the engine still runs sweet im not too fussed i'l just have to get over it. ive had cars in the past and friends with similar cars with decats and they haven't got the light on.

not sure wot will be the case with the cupra r. i want my car to sound savage and go quicker and it i cant get it to reach its potential with a standard cat and downpipe...so it must be sorted!

this is the kind of stuff i need to know.

my 225 has already been mapped to 260bhp but for me its a little quiet so a new exhaust was first on the list of mods followed by 007dv and k+n.

i considered a cat back first of all but all ive read and been told suggests that although a catback may contribute to the noise im looking for it wont really provide any real power gains. i want 300bhp on the cards eventually and, again as ive been told with the cat and downpipe being the most restrictive part of the exhaust system the car will never reach its potential without these being upgraded. surely a decat and downpipe upgrade can only see gains rather than losses? i dont want any misfire or problems idling or anything of the sort so are these the problems im faced with if i go for such mods?

i thought get the full system, dv and k+n then get another remap if needs be to get the engine running as it should would be the best option...this not the case?

thanks for your help!

have you considered what size you want i.e. 2.5", 2.75" or 3"?

mine was supposed to be 3" system from blueflame, but when measured, only just read over 2.5"....very disappointing

good system, but not happy that it is not the size it is supposed to be

The blueflame looks like really good value compared to the other systems such as miltek and piper,is it a case of you get what you pay for though. How can blue flame be so much cheaper than the other two systems.
