blueflame....how loud is yours?

Hey all,

I got my blueflame system in the group buy last year but I just wondered how loud everyone else's systems are?

Mine is pretty feckin loud tbh, reasonably quiet on tickover but all hell breaks lose once boost comes in!

I went out for a ride in a modified octavia a few weeks ago and his exhaust was so so much quieter than mine! He also had blueflame system but he had a 3 inch system all the way from the turbo (with race cat) to backbox. mine is 3 in dp and 2.5in cat back iirc.

I'm going upto Blueflame on Monday to get my system re-fitted so I may ask them to try and quiet it down a bit.

Mine is loud when you boot it, but civilized the rest of the time. A 3" system all the way is likely to be louder - and it depends on what size the cat is.

It's pretty hard to tell from your vid if mine is louder, but you have two exausts too! Mine certainly isn't quieter than that.

I too, expected the quiet octavia to have a smaller bore than me and was shocked that he had 3in all the way!

Did the group buy include rear centre silencer? i think maybe not...

I'm 90% sure I don't have rear silencer though, will check later.

just after the cat I have a silencer box but I wouldn't describe it as a rear silencer? more like a middle silencer! are these one and the same or do I not have a rear silencer?

The mid, if you've got one is probably about 12" long and about 8" in diameter

Mines great, nice and quiet when driving sensible, good rumble when on boost. Do you have a resonance tube fitted as this will cause it to be quiet, without it'll be loud and boomy.

with it being new it might just need coking up a bit,SS exhausts do quieten down abit with time,once you get a bit of soot in them.

I have had the system on for about 7k so should be well sooted by now.
