Bluefin?

I've just been reading in a mag (performance tuner) the bluefin becoming available for VAG's, known very well in the ford seen but they tested it on the Golf GTI and it gave an increase of 41bhp. Has anybody used one on an ibiza?

In the article it says the boost on the golf was raised by 20%, which doesn't sound alot! I know it's a different engine but that is impressive when you think a revo remap would increase boost by over 200%!

Well standard boost is 7psi, revo boosts to around 20psi. so near enough yeah!

I Thought It Was 9psi Standard??

7,8 but 9psi in rare unconfirmed circumstances

ofcourse most people base their "Facts" on gauges and they can be slightly below 9psi or a crap gauge

never seen a boost log showing 9psi standard

I have Bluefin on my Focus ST and although there's nothing wrong with it, I just find it to be a little disappointing. It's like they've chosen very conservative settings for their remap and deliberately held it back a little to make sure they don't have to use the warranty they provide.
