bloody windows!!!!

right after 2 weeks i finally got a new window reg which is the right one, however it still wont work the window buttons light up but no joy with the windows still both p/s and drivers side???????? me and daves ibiza are well confusedas surely if they light up there is power going to them checked the fuses all look fine so im stumped any ideas would be great thanks

did you remember to reconnect the big connector to the motor ???

wat the plug to window reg?? ye i did if u mean that but the p/s window aint workin also noticed my interior light aint working??

could be a fuse or you might have not fully locked the connector in place.

ye il have to chec out all the fuses again dunno wat else it could be

might sound stupid but have you done a continuity check through the switches? when my windows failed i thought it was the regulator but after fault finding i found it was the switches were full of fluff and grime and just needed a really good clean there is a thread on " how to" on here

yes mate he bought new switches. and just found out its a fuse

ye it was the stupid fuse that isnt in the fuse box well above and hard to see, but all sorted now
