Blacking out panel behind front reg

Hey,

I've got an 08 plate Ibiza mk4 1.4 sport.
Looking to either wrap or spray paint the panel behind the front reg black so it's like an fr/cupra/sportrider one.

Has anyone done this? (I've got a new can of black spray paint that I can use)
