I have a Golf GTI which has been recently wax'd (Zymol) and I have some Poorboys Blue wax at home for when I do it - my question is - if I wanted that extra gloss/wet look is there another product which can give me this?

I have seen previously an qutoglym product (high gloss protection I think it was) but are there are others people can recommend?

For the best results you can get, you need to have a full detail to fetch out all minor defects and smooth the paintwork out. A full detail will help you acheive a wet look from just washing the car for months afterwards.
The pic below was taken 4 months after it was detailed, and all i did was wash/dry it and go over it with some speed detailer.

If you want something with a deep reflective look then try this:

Chemical Guys WET MIRROR FINISH ULTRA SLICK NON-STICK GLOSS MAGNIFIER-

you can get it from www.carwashnwax.co.uk

but if you want something with good durability and protection, you can't go wrong with Chemical guys 50/50 connoisseur paste wax...

I like Pinnicle souveran wax for a really wet rich finish, trouble is it dont last that long, its almost a "show" wax

I've found COLLINITE 915 to bea really good wax, leaving a deep slick wet looking shine, but lasting months.

Sorted this 225 out the other week & applied 915
