I have a 2003 black leon cupra r and am going to get my windows titnted but am not sure if too just get the backs done or if to get the back done and then the front done with a light tint. If anyone has some pictures too help me decide that would be great

only a lc but with rear tints

Hmmm be good to compare those pics with an LCR with front and rear tints. Btw @ricky3 are those Audi wheels?

Cheers. Got wind deflectors to go on aswell. Might get rears done then see wht it looks like then do fronts if needed. Like the wheels aswell :)

On my black lcr I had tints all round.. same as on my black ocy.. light at front going gradually darker to the rear. My opinion it looks much better.. currently got a red lcr and also looking at tinting same effect again. Was told any tints no matter how light at front is illegal (I thought it 30%) was previously aloud..however u can still get them done as long as u sign a disclaimer.

Brought mine with the tints already done done. There all the same shade including the rear screen and depending on the time of day can look very light or quite dark. Never had any bother from the police either.

I have the same conundrum with my black LCR, been pondering over it for 2 years now, think i'll leave them standard

Here is a picture of mine. Looks pretty dark from that angles but it is the lightest shade on the front blended to slightly darker at the rear.

Nothing on the front is legal I'm afraid :(:( but I get every car I buy tinted as my mate owns the business. Never been stopped for them yet. He also wrapped the mirrors Brushed Steel :D.

Police said to me that it needs to allow more then 75% light through. Best thing is I had them on my van for 5 years. That's 5 mots , and god knows how many times past the police. Maybe I was just unlucky that day and that the copper hadn't got his leg over the night before.

there is a legal amount and that is 75% light throughput on the front. UNFORTUNATELY most cars have a factory tint which is about 10% so if you tint over the top of that you then end up with only 65% throughput and therefore ILLEGAL!
