Hi,

What's the best way to 'repair' paintwork that has been damaged by bird droppings?

thanks,

Depends how far its eaten in. Sometimes you'll be able to polish it out by hand, sometimes it will need a machine polish, if its bad it might need to be wetsanded then machine polished, if its really bad it might not be possible to completely fix.

bird poo is a real pain had some on my GTI-6 that never came out even after trying everything Reg suggested.

Would prob recommend a machine polish get the whole car done if the paints a little shabby and it'll come up looking like new :)
