dunno but theyre better for getting ur car sitting right. Lower the car as much as you want instead of just banging on springs.
i wouldnt fit 18's without coilovers like

Yup, that's the guide for the MK3. You have to feed the power cable for the amp through the grommet (as per guide) underneath the glove box. It will depend on where you mount the amp, most are usually in the rear. You then need to feed the cable underneath the carpet (seat out) or under the plastics on the passenger side. When doing this make sure you run speaker and remote cable at the same time to save duplication.

All really depends on what you need the amp for.

Ok mate, sounds good to me. That guide should be just fine for you.

Might be worth upgrading the front speakers at the same time if you are replacing the tweeters in the doors and then power them off the amp so that you've got a nice sound at the front (where you need it) and the sub in the rear

Personally I wouldn't bother with 6x9s and cutting the parcel shelf in the back as the standard h/u isn't that great tbh. You then want to use the rear speaker cables to feed the sub.

Im with Bart on the "No 6x9's" Get two sets of components, mount them correctly to make the best of the sound they give, then get a sub.

Subs, and 6x9s are pointless, as the 6x9 is a bassy speaker, which IMO goes against the bass from a sub.

One or the other, but not both!
And if your looking for someone to tell you which to go for, I wont, that's down to a personal preference, and you make your own decisions, and learn from mistakes.
But i would never recommend 6x9's to anyone.

best install you can get, without going into silly money suround sound systems, and full refit and rebuild of the car's interior, is
Components fitted in footwell's pointing upwards, tweeters fitted dash level if poss, of footwell pointed up again. Components in the back, pointing upwards towards the rear screen, to bounce the sounds forward.
And a sub in the boot.

But you have to decide on what music you listen to most, before deciding on what speakers to get.
